Self-Help for Overcoming Stress & Anxiety

This is a new self-help workshop designed for the general public.  Anyone is welcome to attend, although it may also be of interest to qualified therapists.

Workshop Overview

  • Introduction to relaxation and stress
  • Evidence-based approaches to relaxation
  • Developing awareness of muscular tension and relaxation
  • Scanning your body to develop mindfulness
  • Muscle relaxation theory and practice
  • Progressive muscle relaxation and other techniques
  • Applying relaxation to stressful situations and events

(NB: We are constantly researching and improving our material. Hence, course content may be subject to change at the discretion of the college without prior notice. This information is provided as a typical example only.)

Entry Requirements

This course is open to everyone. No previous experience or training is required.

Course Fees

Course fees £132.  Bring a guest free of charge.

A 20% discount is available to UK College Diploma graduates or to those who have previously attended this workhop and wish to repeat it.
