Workshop Overview

If you are interested in hypnosis for personal development, or you are considering a career in hypnotherapy, this fun and practical one-day taster workshop will provide you with an excellent introduction to the subject.  Students will have the opportunity to learn how to use hypnosis and self-hypnosis, to have their own hypnotic responses tested, and to practice hypnotic inductions with other classmates. No previous experience or qualifications are required.

Who should attend?

• Anyone insterested in learning how self-hypnosis can be used for personal development
• Anyone new to the subject of hypnotherapy interested in training to become a professional hypnotherapist
• Practicing psychotherapists, counsellors, psychologists and other healthcare professionals interested in finding out how to incorporate hypnosis into their existing practice or for CPD
• Anyone considering enrolling on the full diploma training. This is a great opportunity to meet the college staff and principal, and to get a taster of the training we provide. The cost of workshop will be discounted from the diploma fees if you decide to enrol within one year.

• Myths and misconceptions about hypnosis.
• About the issues that hypnotherapists treat.
• How to become a professional hypnotherapist.
• How to use self-hypnosis techniques for confidence building and personal development.
• An introduction to cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapy.
